Give Love

I recently heard this great song and saw this great video called “Give Love”.

It immediately warmed my heart and renewed my inspiration to spread some love.  I can’t think of a time when showing some love is more appropriate.  It refuels my loyalty to masterminding because it really cuts to the core of what defines a great mastermind group versus the same old tired group meeting that calls itself a “mastermind group”.

Have a listen.  Be with the words and share what it inspires in you.

With all the hurt going on around me, I’m still infinitely grateful for the blessings I have.  In this moments, it reminds me to show some love; give some love….whatever I define that to be to whomever I’m inspired to give some love.

And yes this IS personal!

And yes, this IS business!

Is it giving:   A client, a job, a hug, kind words, dinner out, a check, a gentle touch, a thank you, please, I love you, I appreciate you, the world is a better place with you….whatever it is, it’s perfect.

Tim Sanders even wrote a book about it called “Love Is The Killer App“.  He calls it “Biz Love”.

Sharing your network, knowledge and most impactful, your compassion.

You want to see change in you?  Around you?  Be the change by showing some love.

And speaking of being the change you wish to see in the world, here is a bonus video in honor of the man who is credited with that beautiful quote “be the change you wish to see in the world”

With Gratitude,

The Reality of Your Life

People talk about the reality of their life as if it is important.  And we want you to understand it's only the temporary indicator.

Do you go to the gas station – your gas gauge is on empty - and look at your gas gauge in horror?  "How did this happen? Why, why, why did this happen to me?"

Do you lay your head on the steering wheel and just sob?  "Oh, look what it's come to. I'm finished.  I've lived all of this life, and look where I am."

Or do you just fill up?

The Year In Review

As I reflect on the last year or so….

  1. I'm infinitely grateful for the experiences and learnings.
  2. I'm achy and stronger.
  3. I'm unsatisfied and happy.
  4. I have more moments of joy…because I choose to.
  5. I'm unsettled and enjoy the variety.
  6. When I reflect on thoughts, it seems chaotic and crazy
  7. I desire more money, more passion, more juice with my life in general and specifically.
  8. I know that I'm doing the work.
  9. I know that each step reveals the next and often times I don't feel like taking that step.
  10. I'm infinitely grateful for each and every experience even if I had a temper tantrum in the moment.

There have been ups and downs and the net result is better than before.  I believe being unsettled and unsatisfied motivates me to "do with purpose" and also reminds me to savor the harmony.

I have a tremendous amount of experience in my short 43 years on this earth.  I have unique abilities that have been identified by a couple special people around me.

The greatest lesson I've learned…

My deepest desire is to continue to have those abilities and experiences leveraged.  For me, I'm a team player; a connector.  I LOVE it when I'm called into action for the benefit of the team.  I'm a man of service and energy is released when I'm called to serve a cause on a team.

There is nothing sadder for me than to work alone or be used.  Serving is different.  I feel the difference and my team feels the difference when unique abilities are engaged.  It's the breath of life….truly releasing infinite energy.

Today, I'm not in a place of deep fulfillment. I am in the process and open to a cause and team.  I know I have a purpose, even if I haven't realized it because I'm still getting up and still breathing!

I'm grateful.

Team & People

Masterminding vs. Big Bloated Companies

NOW is the most critical time to come to together; to communicate; to collaborate; to contribute and make a difference in life.

Sorry Charlie, business isn't coming back.  It's going forward!

I recall what my silent and powerful friend, Greg Hartle, founder of the Financial Happiness Project has said AND witnessed again and again…smart business today is bringing talent together for a project.  When the mission is achieved, dismissing the team and repeating again on the next project.

Consider this:

  • It's good for the organizer whereby they benefit from the unique talents and experience of different people.
  • It's good for the bottom-line of the project whereby it leverages talent only for the time it takes to accomplish the mission.
  • It's good for the talent because it specifically leverages and celebrates the talent and experience they bring.  There is a deep fulfillment in being of service in a specific area that we genuinely like.
  • it's good for the talent's bottom-line from a financial perspective as well.  Look at this from the abundance perspective versus scarcity perspective.  "Oh my gosh where is my next gig?" vs. "People are calling on me because of my results on the last gig".

What's important here is to

a) believe that you have unique abilities and experience that will benefit others.

b) get some help uncovering those abilities.  If you're like the typical human then you have no clue what your unique abilities are.  Much like seeing that spot on your back from the same perspective another person will, you MUST have the detached perspective of another.

c) engaging with people that celebrate, champion and are an advocate for making best use of those unique abilities.

bottom line here is It will NOT happen alone!

It's part of the reason I chose to launch MastermindingNOW!

  1. To champion the power of Masterminding and the Mastermind Group
  2. To provide subject matter expertise in the area
  3. To inspire you to come together and quite simply…to START a conversation.

There are dozens of places to learn the mechanics of mastermind groups and just as many groups called "mastermind groups" paid and free.  The true key where the team at MastermindingNOW! excel is engaging "the 1+1=3 Way"; fostering a place of trust, authenticity, abundance and harmony where "magic moments" aren't elusive, they are guaranteed

I've played a part in the success of some amazing mastermind groups including "one of the most exclusive wealth retreats in the world".  I've collaborated quietly with group after group….in the background.  And more than anything else, it pissed me off that "mastermind magic" is so elusive to the majority of the population and it's there for the asking!

Several business owners and company leaders have consulted me to help them create, accelerate and leverage results through collaboration whether they are called mastermind groups, idea potlucks,  synergy groups, among others.

There is one common denominator with those that reach out. They believe in the sheer power of collaboration or as I call it, The 1+1=3 Way. They believe and have seen that 1+1=2 is old school, scarcity mentality crap.

The time has come to stand up and pass forward the knowledge, resources and soul of conscious collaboration.

It truly is time to move from the boring, time-wasting, posturing, mob scene meetings to masterful mastermind moments.

I'm proud to support you as you support conscious business and create mastermind magic moments.

As with anything in life, it's a work in progress and the only thing to do is START!
